Sophie's Song

We have always liked to make our own original birth announcements but what can you do for a fourth child? Our minds were blank until Vero realised that the song idea she had was perfect for Sophie. As our children have their own songs she was to have one as well and we could even use it as the birth announcement. We want Sophie to know that we love her and welcome her into our family but more importantly that she is loved by God, her creator. Hopefully she will never forget that.

Lyrics

Sophie, we love you, did you know that?
Sophie, we love you, did you know that?

Sophie, we love you, did you know that?
Sophie, we love you, did you know that?

Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?
Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?

And I pray to my God every morning and night
to protect you and guide you the days of your life.
And He gave his only Son for you
to die on the cross so you have life.

Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?
Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?

Sophie, we love you, did you know that?
Sophie, we love you, did you know that?

And I pray to my God every morning and night
to protect you and guide you the days of your life.
And He gave his only Son for you
to die on the cross so you have life.

Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?
Sophie, God loves you, did you know that?

Sophie, I love you, did you know that?
Sophie, I love you, did you know that?

Oe...

Sophie we love you, never forget
Sophie God loves you, did you know that.
